Guides
Craig Daly has been guiding in the Snowy Mountains for over 25 years. He has certification as a Fly Casting Instructor with the Federation of Fly Fishers and is a licensed National Parks and Wildlife Service tour operator. His quest for furthering his fly fishing knowledge has led him from the wild rivers of Colorado and Montana in the USA, to the bone fish flats of the Pacific and the northern tropics of Australia.
Seasons
Rivers and streams are open from the October long weekend and close on the June long weekend. Most lakes and impoundments are open all year.
Destinations
We specialise in trout and freshwater fishing across the Snowy Mountains region.
Flies and equipment
For the smaller streams, a 3/4 weight will work well. For bigger waters, a 5/6 weight will handle bigger flies and the wind. If you don't bring your own gear, that's no problem, we can supply quality Echo fly rods to suit any fishing occasion! All other equipment can be supplied.
